Agreement

By using SOPly ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. SOPly is operated by SOPly ("we", "us", "our").

What SOPly provides

SOPly is an AI-powered tool that generates standard operating procedure (SOP) documents from screen recordings. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that generated SOPs will be error-free, complete, or suitable for any specific compliance, regulatory, or legal purpose.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated SOPs before using them in any professional, operational, or compliance context. You should not rely on AI-generated documentation as your sole source of truth for critical processes without human review.

You must not upload recordings containing illegal content, content you do not have the right to process, or content that violates the rights of others. You must not use the Service to generate documentation for illegal activities.

You are responsible for ensuring that any screen recordings you process through SOPly do not contain sensitive information (such as passwords, personal data of others, or classified material) that should not be shared with third-party AI services.

Accounts

You may create an account to save SOPs and access additional features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Data processing

Video processing and frame extraction happen in your browser. Your video files are never uploaded to our servers. To generate SOPs, extracted screenshots are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. By using the Service, you consent to this processing. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your screen recordings and any SOPs generated from them. We do not claim any rights over your content. SOPly, its branding, design, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.

Subscriptions and payments

SOPly offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Free plan limits (including the number of SOPs per month) may change at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOPly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from errors in generated SOPs, reliance on AI-generated content, loss of data, business interruption, or any use of generated documentation in regulated or compliance-critical environments.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOPly, its operators, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we will notify users via the email associated with their account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
